Photo Madness: Cherry Blossoms @ High Park

  • SONY DSC

The cherry blossom tree flowers which are in fact the national flowers of Japan are called ‘Sakura’ in Japanese. The Japanese cherry blossom is interpreted as ‘transient of life’ due to its fragility and short term life. The Chinese on the other hand see it as is a symbol of feminine dominance and power. We are lucky to have them in Toronto, and many people see them as a sign that spring is clearly here. We had a chance to see them in their full beauty at High Park and this is the album.
