Not out of middle school yet, UNFINISHED BUSINESS, a band consisting of three 12-14 year old punk rockers, will be showcasing for NXNE @ Redpath Stage – Harbourfront Sunday, June 16 @ 2 PM. They look forward to proving that they are the most fun band in the world!

Influences:
We don’t really listen to punk bands except the ones we play with…but we just like playing the music. When Sita was in kindergarten she was obsessed with AC/DC and Green Day though. Oh and the Ramones. And the Runaways were an influence too!
You have created quite the buzz with your high energy act. How did the band get started?
Layla and Sita met in daycare!
Sita started her first band when she was like 6 or 7 and went to a different school.
In 2010 Sita came back to our old school and was lucky to be in Fiona and Layla’s class – yay! And we just thought it would be fun to make a band (:
What will you be bringing to your upcoming NXNE showcase? Are you excited? Nervous?
We’re bringing our energy and fun personalities…and maybe a confetti cannon (wink wink!). We are both excited AND nervous.
Looking to the future: What is in store for Unfinished Business?
The day before NXNE we are recording our first album and we will be making videos this summer and making some new songs.
We are playing the Broken Arts Festival in Oshawa on July 13 at Memorial Park. It’s free!!
