Photo Madness: Chico Trujillo – Ritmo Y Color

Click on images to enlarge them

Chilean superstars Chico Trujillo brought their groove-driven cumbia Chilombiana ( A sort of urban hybrid of Chilean and Colombian cumbia with generous doses of punk/Chilean folk music/Ska with a futbol-soccer type of energy) from the streets of the many chilean barrios to the WestJet Stage as part of Harbourfront’s Ritmo Y Color festival. A full on 90 minute set that had everyone sweating and jumping and that felt much too short. We hope our pictures captured some of the energy of that wonderful night.
