Alison is a graduate of The Ontario College of Art and Design and has a Bachelor of Fine Arts from the University of British Columbia, She is also a working artist, painter, sculptor, illustrator, curator and the mother of two teenage boys Alison has been an active member of the Toronto arts scene for many years, first as an actress and also a stand-up comedian. She has also worked in the film and television sector as an assistant, sound and film editor and story editor. She has written and illustrated several children’s books.
