December’s DOC SOUP Premieres Powerful Doc GRANITO: HOW TO NAIL A DICTATOR
December’s Doc Soup will see the Toronto premiere of the powerful, history-in-the-making doc GRANITO: HOW TO NAIL A DICTATOR. Called “both a humanitarian legal thriller and a quest to find justice through cinema” by The Village Voice, GRANITO will screen on Wednesday, December 7, at 6:30 pm and 9:15 pm at the TIFF Bell Lightbox. Advance tickets are now available for purchase online . Filmmaker Pamela Yates will be in attendance to introduce the film and answer questions following the screenings.

Only 2 1/2 More Weeks Left To Submit A Film For ReelWorld Film Festival
The ReelWorld Film Festival is currently accepting submissions for 2012. From now until December 9, filmmakers are invited to enter their shorts and feature length films, documentaries, animation, and music videos for the chance to screen at one of the country’s most diverse international festivals.
ReelWorld continues to provide a platform for films featuring racially and culturally diverse casts telling positive stories, which are often underrepresented in mainstream cinema.
The 12th Annual ReelWorld Film Festival will take place April 11 – 15, 2012 in Toronto.
