Reality Bytes is a new club night in Kensington Market in the heart of Toronto. On the first Saturday of the month at the Augusta House we invite the entire city to celebrate 90s culture. Appealing to the original club kids of the 90s to the hipsters of today, we cross genres and embrace differences. Spinning 90s music – grunge, riot girl, alternative, hip hop, dance, electronica and all that falls between.
Unplug your dial-up modems, turn off Friends or Beavis and Butthead on your TV and put away your Tamagotchi. Stop playing with your Pogs, back away from the Street Fighter and Mortal Combat.
Lace up your docs, grab your chain wallets. Dust off your 90s records, put them in your discman and head down to the Augusta House on the first Saturday of the month.
For the February edition we will be spinning all your 90s faves with some extra fromage thrown in for flavour! Don’t be surprised if you hear a Spice Girls or Boy Band track up in the mix.
