Sony Centre For The Performing Arts presents “1964”… The Tribute

Since the early 80’s, “1964”…The Tribute has been thrilling audiences all over the globe with what Rolling Stone Magazine has called the “Best Beatles Tribute on Earth”.

Unlike other acts, “1964” concentrates on only the “touring years” of the Beatles.  Since this time period is one of the most well documented (pictures, films, and eye witness accounts) times of the Beatles career, there is much that one can compare.  “1964” recreates an early ’60’s live Beatles concert, with period instruments, clothing, hairstyles, onstage banter, with an accuracy that is unmatched even til this day. Come see why “1964” is the definitive and most accurate of all the Beatle shows.

Over two decades of researching and performing have made “1964” masters of their craft and the result is an astonishingly genuine manifestation of the energy and magic of the 1964 Beatles invasion of America, a quintessential time in music history. “1964” have performed over 2900 shows, released recordings, videos and were featured in a PBS special.

The band includes Mark Benson as John Lennon, Toddy Rainey as Paul McCartney, Tom Work as George Harrison, and Terry Manfredi as Ringo Starr.  This engagement marks the first time “1964” will perform at the Sony Centre for the Performing Arts.  It promises to be a memorable show!
