Do you want to rock and make a difference for sick children? Now is your chance! Rock4theKids is a competition based on the popular Rock BandTM series of games in support of SickKids Foundation. The glory and adulation of being on stage no longer belongs just to the rock stars of the world. Rock Band virtuosos can come out of their houses and feel what it’s like to hear the roar of the crowd.
Bands of 4 will rock-out against each other for fun, for prizes, and of course, for the kids.
The ultimate goal is a one-night, one-cause, sold-out show.
Who Can Enter?
- Anyone can enter, though players must enter as a band of four players, complete with a band name.
- This could be you!
- Entry fee for the competition is minimum of $200 using a pledge system.
- Band who fundraise above the $200 minimum will receive bonus points towards their final score
- Bands will be able to register online and fundraise through the SickKids Foundation PET page.
- Bands may optionally include a band logo, to be displayed while the band plays.
- Admission to the event is available for a donation ($5) for those not in the competition.

How Does it Work?
- There is a 15 band limit to pre-registration. All bands after 20 will be placed on a standby waiting list and will be able to play time permitting.
- Each band will play one song from the Rock Band catalogue. (Includes most songs from Rock Band and Rock Band 2, but no downloadable content). The top 3 teams will compete in a one-song playoff round.
- The competition takes place on April 7, 2009 at Revival (783 College Street, http://www.revivalbar.com/) at 7:30 p.m.
