More Than 20 000 Isolated by Rains in Honduras

HondurasHeavy rains and overflowing rivers kept more than 20 000 people cut off in Honduras, where the state’s Permanent Contingency Commission (Copeco) declared various alerts.

The Copeco declared a red alert, with mandatory evacuations in riskier places in the Caribbean province of Atlantida and yellow alert with preventive evacuations in neighboring Columbus.
