Angie's Quick & Easy Ovaltine Cookies

ovaltine

1/3 cup of margarine or butter
1/3 cup of sugar
1 egg beaten
1 tsp vanilla
Pinch of salt
Pinch of ground nutmeg
1?4 cup Ovaltine
1 cup shredded coconut
1 cup oats

Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit or 180 degrees Celsius. As this recipe does not take long to make, grease a baking pan as your first step in the preparation, so the cookies may go into the oven right away.

In a bowl mix margarine or butter and sugar until smooth. Beat one egg in a separate bowl and add to the butter and sugar mixture.

Now, add vanilla, salt and nutmeg and keep blending until you have an even mixture.

Next add Ovaltine and combine until the colour is an even brown.

Finally mix in the coconut and oats and blend with a spatula until it is well incorporated.

When the concoction is even throughout, use a tablespoon to scoop the mixture and form a cookie and place it on the greased pan. It should make about 12 or 16 cookies.

Insert cookies in the oven and bake for about 17 to 20 minutes depending on the oven.download messenger the story of joan of arc the movie
