Amazing thoughts and ideas are being realized by students of the University of Toronto Visual Studies Program.
From Eden Biggens thought provoking videos that use grotesque and bizarre imagery to delve into the different aspects of identity and beliefs. To Jing Wangs traditionally painted canvases that explore the discord between two cultures.
The projects exhibited by the eleven emerging artists of the 2010 Thesis Class show a variety of
disciplines including painting, photography, drawing, video, sculpture and projection, a culmination of a seven-month-long exploration of individual conceptual and studio art practice.
