Led Zeppelin to Reissue First Three Albums in 2014

led zeppelinReissues of three albums by Led Zeppelin will come to market in 2014, according to an announcement made by Jimmy Page, one of the founders of the extinct British band considered among the most influential in the history of rock.

Apart from Led Zeppelin I, Led Zeppelin II and Led Zeppelin III, the guitarist promised the release of other works from his own material.

Led by Page, with John Paul Jones on bass and keyboard, John Bonham on drums and vocalist Robert Plant, the group founded in 1968 was a role model on the heavy metal of the 70s, followed by Deep Purple, Black Sabbath and Iron Maiden.

Although the band disintegrated in 1980, people still hear the music of Led Zeppelin and its records have sold over 300 million copies worldwide.

At present is the second group of its kind with the largest number of Diamond Albums in history, surpassed only by The Beatles. (PL)
